Photography

I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Photography with a Specialization in Performing Arts from Ohio University. During my time at OU, I shot for Thread Magazine and held a two-year internship with the Performing Arts & Dance Department. My work was featured campus-wide and is still used for promo today. I specialize in fitness and lifestyle photography but have also dabbled in weddings.

My shooting style

My favorite part of cinematography is that you are telling a story and are looking for “moments.” My experience as a performance photographer, where you have one chance to capture these “moments” during a live show, taught me how to pay attention to detail and shoot with purpose.

Social Media Support

Throughout my time working with IFBB Fitness Pro Athletes, such as Sheena Jayne Martin (@sheenajayne_fitness) and Ray Edmonds (@raymontedmonds), I also began offering YouTube/TikTok editing and support. A lot of people don’t have the time or energy to pour into a YouTube channel or TikTok account, so that’s where I come in. Clients email me their footage via Dropbox and I handle the rest (editing, captions and thumbnails). This is especially useful for clients that live out of state. I also have edited exclusively for YouTuber, Shallon Lester (@shallonxo), and currently edit TikTok content for Antje Utaard (@antjeutaard). I also specialize in UGC content - producing, shooting and editing videos for TikTok (TikTok portfolio upon request).

Videography

Although my degree is in Commercial Photography, I began my video journey years before college. My parents gifted me a point-and-shoot Panasonic camera for my 12th birthday and I documented anything and everything I could! I learned video editing at a young age and quickly converted my Windows XP knowledge to Apple Mac. I took several courses in college to expand my knowledge in the video world and have since shot promotional content for athletes and brands affiliated with Hilo Gummies, Vital Proteins, Better Bodies, Gaspari, DiffEyewear, Bend Active and Gymshark. My works spans all different niches, from shooting for IFBB Pros and athletic teams like SeeYouLaterLeaner (@seeyoulaterleaner), to shooting promotional content for brands in the medical beauty industry and clothing, such as Oasis by Plush (@oasisbyplush), Bend Active (@bendactive) and Ferret Campos New York (@ferretcampos_newyork). You’ll also notice several engagement/wedding trailers in my Video Gallery. Makeup

I was professionally trained to do makeup 8 years ago by SmartBomb Cosmetics owner and entrepreneur, Laura Wilging. I learned bridal makeup as well as every day application for clients. I also was trained in skincare consulting and to this day can look at a person’s skin and immediately see what is lacking in their regimen. I obtained a certification in Permanent Makeup and am skilled in commercial makeup application, Powder Brows, Permanent Eyeliner and Lip Blush.

COMMERCIAL

When I first started MadeULook Media, it was surprising to me how many women (and men) did not feel comfortable doing their own makeup for a shoot. I then had the idea to marry two of my talents together- OFFER PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP APPLICATION WITH MY SHOOTS! And boy, does it make a difference. For an additional price, clients get to walk away with a full face of glam and I get to spend less time retouching - it’s a win win. Professional level makeup for shoots does make a difference and is something I highly recommend.

COMPETITION

As I began filming at fitness competitions with the athletic team, SeeYouLaterLeaner, I noticed low-quality makeup being used on the girls. So I decided to do something about it! I stocked my makeup kit and started offering makeup services for fitness competition shows.

Permanent makeup

When the salon I was shooting media for was looking for a new PMU artist, I was approached immediately by the store owner. After a little research, I decided “why not?” and obtained my Permanent Makeup Certification in 2020. I am knowledgable in Powder Brows, Permanent Eyeliner and Lip Blush.
